What is the Funding Transaction Fee involving an external account?
The Funding Transaction Fee for a Funding Transaction involving an external account is 1.75% of the amount transferred, rounded up to the nearest cent, subject to a minimum fee of $0.25 cents & up to a maximum of $25 per transfer. You may perform Funding Transactions involving an external account up to $1,500 per month. A Funding Transaction involving an external account refers to a near real-time transfer of funds from your Walmart MoneyCard account to another network br&ed account (e.g., a Visa or Mastercard prepaid or debit card) that is authorized via a third-party platform (e.g., loading of a prepaid card account, moving funds into another financial account, external P2P transactions, or adding value to a digital wallet).
Examples of Funding Transactions involving an external account:
You use Cash App to transfer $100 from your linked Walmart MoneyCard account for purposes of sending money to another person. Your Walmart MoneyCard account will be charged the Funding Transaction Fee of $1.75 ($100.00 x 1.75%).
You use your Venmo account to transfer $50 from your linked Walmart MoneyCard account for purposes of funding your Venmo account. Your Walmart MoneyCard account will be charged the Funding Transaction fee of $0.88 ($50 x 1.75%).
